Paragliding in Nepal amongst the grandest scenery on earth is an inspiring experience. Float over mystery shrouded monasteries, ancient palaces, legendary lakes, raging rivers, exotic jungle and villages forgotten by time. Truly the adventure of a lifetime!

Flying Tours
It’s 10 days tours offer you a fantastic introduction to flying in the Nepal Himalaya. Do not think that you have to be full on competition pilot to fly here. The truth is that almost any level of experience will see you equally enjoying the pilot friendly conditions that this unique subtropical climate provides.

Club Pilot + 25 hours will see you thermal ling easily in the company of the Himalayan Griffin Vultures. The months we fly mean that there are no valley or prevailing winds and the snow-clad giants are at their most pristine. Surprisingly, very little walking is done on these tours. Just a short walk each morning to Takeoff and then you let your wing do the work!

Tandem Flying Adventures
For 9 years we have been exploring the Himalaya, searching for the Ultimate adventure imaginable. We think we have found in Nepal, what must be the most unique aerial experience.

Tandem flying involves a pilot flying with a passenger. Both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are built for comfort and safety; they feel more like an armchair. Once launched the passenger just sits back, relaxes and takes in the epic scenery. Even taking pictures is not problem. Because Para gliders can foot launch and gently foot land again with the minimum of, we can take them anywhere and fly them from most mountains in Nepal.

Sunrise Paragliding’s most popular of flights, gives you the opportunity to fly from Sarangkot, the stunning view-point 2000ft above Lakeside, Pokhara. A 20 min. jeep ride brings us to our launch site. From here we can see 3 of the highest mountains in the world. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, all over 8000 m. We offer 3 types of tanden flight from here.

Phewa Tal View:
In the morning and late afternoon these 15 min flights give you a taste of unpowered flight, taking you over Pokhara lake and then landing by a Lakeside bar.

Cloud buster:
This midday flight gives you the thrill of high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the Company of eagles and vultures, 30-40 min. We land by the lake.

Cross-country:
This offers you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. 1- 1-5 hours.

Paragliding Course:
Experiences the ultimate high- learns to fly yourself. Paragliding is the most pure form o f flying. By using the elements and rising currents of warm air, we can stay aloft for many hours and travel many miles. This simple aircraft fits easily into a rucksack and weighs around 10 kg.
